The Center for Institutional Finance provided financing to a Church in High Point, North Carolina to purchase the former John Wesley University Campus after the University merged with another faith-based Private University. Our specialty lending organization provided 20-year financing at 4.56% while making provision for a 2nd lien obligation that significantly reduced the cash equity necessary to close. The campus is further being renovated with C-PACE funding with NO additional equity required from the Church.
The Center for Institutional Finance provided $7.75 million in tax-exempt and taxable bond financing to a faith based private K-12 school to purchase a former college campus in Fort Pierce, Florida to convert it into a separate grades 6-12 campus of the school while the first campus location was re-configured to a K-5 campus to meet growing enrollments and to replace its previous school campus destroyed by Hurricane Irma. The project was 100% financed, with a repayment term of 30 years, and included Working Capital to complete a new gym and classroom expansion within the 75,000 sq foot facility.
